Process / The How

of usability review and analysis by design expert

Phases

Starts with

To-Do

We will use various usability methods to review your products or services depending on the types of product, review, issues or challenges, or project goals. The phases and milestones will depend on the agreed mode of deliverables and project engagement.

We will cover different areas of the design and technicals as mentioned in the scope page to uncover potential design and usability issues.

Services: Surface, Shallow, and Submerge

Steps involved: Assessment, Audit, Review, and Analysis

The length, activities, and deliverables depend on the project scope, requirements, severities, and complexities.

Presents with

Ta-Da

After a thorough review, a detailed analysis will take place.  We will produce guided, and actionable recommendations based on established design principles, best practices, and expert tailored advice.

Discussion of the detailed report can be done through a conference video call or face-to-face meetings when required. A detailed usability report (in PDF) will be sent to the project team.

Steps involved: Document and Handover

The length, activities, and deliverables depend on the project scope, requirements, severities, and complexities.

Six steps

Step 1

Assessment

Before the project starts, a high-level assessment is needed that will be used for the proposal and costing purposes.

Step 2

Audit

Audit is building a holistic and detailed inventory. The design panel will ask to prepare access or credentials needed for the review.

Step 3

Review

The actual and core of the expert usability review will take place here. It will converge on the various areas of design as defined on scope page.

Step 4

Analysis

Interpret and process all of the gathered insights and expert review. Scores, issues, and recommendations will be based on chosen usability methodology.

Step 5

Document

Produce a presentation deck and a PDF report of the usability review and analysis — highlights and detailed results that will be sent to the project team.

Step 6

Handover

The PDF report and presentation will be sent out or shared via the cloud for easy access. Presentation of the results can be optional but not required.

Let's talk about design and business.
